Description
Diamond gauging finger is a tool for measuring ,widely used in Industries for measuring accuracy of the components during grinding process. Such gauging systems are employed to monitor I.D. & O.D. during and after precise grinding. This facilitates 100% measurement of the component avoiding sampling and resulting in repeatability, precision and confidence in the finished product.
One end of the diamond gauging fingers alloy body is provided with a fixed hole, the other end is inlaid with diamond particles, diamond particles protruding 0.1-0.3mm of the alloy body. Usually, a steel plate is used to weld diamond into the alloy body, but when the size of the diamond measuring finger is relatively small, due to the steel plate welding, the temperature is higher than 1000°C, it will cause local high temperature, resulting in the melting deformation of the measuring tools alloy body end. There is a silver layer between the diamond and the alloy body. When the silver brazing between the diamond and the alloy body is used, the welding can be done at a temperature of 700°C, which will not lead to the melting deformation of the end of the measuring fingersalloy body and improve the measuring accuracy of the tools.
